JCPenney and its offers and promotions is an appropriate choice for an older audience. Their brand isn’t as hot to the younger crowd (a bit like Macy’s). But, their premium pricing more than makes up for its low commission rates.
The JCPenney affiliate program provides a good mid-tier set of promotions. Their brand and products would fit well on any retail and online shopping blog. Or, as solo campaigns promoting its fashions, home goods, and/or services.
If the JCPenney’s partner program commission rate was higher we’d say go all-out. But, you’re better off with one of the bigger brands in this market – or niching into something unique. Overall, though, we think their program could prove profitable with the right content and effort.
